Matflo Engineering Ltd. was founded in 1988 in Mallow, Co. Cork, Ireland.

The businesses initial focus was the conveying of dry goods in a production process hence the name Material-Flow – MATFLO. The company is led by Seamus Fitzgerald and Tadhg Hickey. There are currently over 30 employees in MATFLO with skills ranging from Welders/Fabricators, Mechanical Fitters, Project Managers and CNC Operators with drawing skills. The company is focussed on offering bespoke fabrication, mechanical maintenance, inhouse refurbishing of key components for feed and biofuel pelleting (dies and rolls), trading of pelleting spare parts and lubricants. Since purchasing MATFLO Engineering Ltd in January 2017 Tadhg and Seamus are focussed on building on MATFLO’s strong reputation and inhouse expertise. This focus is on broadening the services offered to valued customers in conjunction with reputable partners who are associated with world class products and services in a safe working environment for all employees.
